SOUTH SULAWESI CIRCUIT

Day 01 : Makassar – Bira ( 5 hours drive )
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin airport, we set out for Bira via Gowa, Takalar and Bantaeng and Bulukumba regency. In Tana Beru we will have a chance to admire the skillful hands of Buginese in constructing Pinisi boat, this is the Center of Pinisi Boat building in Sulawesi. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant enroute. Afternoon arrive in Bira. Check in hotel in Bira....
Day 02 : Bira
Breakfast at Hotel, using local motorized fisherman boat we will visits the nearby Liukang island. This island situated 15 minutes from Bira by local boat, nice beach for swimming or sunbathing and snorkeling. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Bira – Sengkang ( 5 hours drive )
Breakfast at Hotel, we proceed to Sengkang. Enroute we will visit Kajang village (an unique tribe preferred isolation from the modern world. This tribe is ruled by a tribal and religious chief called Ammatoa). Lunch enroute. Afternoon arrive in Sengkang, check in hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 04 : Sengkang – Mamasa ( 7 hours drive )
Breakfast at hotel, then using local motorized fisherman boat, we will explore Tempe Lake to see floating house and the way of life of those who live at the lakeside, visit Traditional silk weaving at Tansitolo, afterwards proceed to Mamasa (also known as West Toraja) via Polewai. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant enroute, late Afternoon arrive Mamasa. Check-in Hotel, dinner and overnight
After breakfast, 2 Fullday excursion around Mamasa, we will visit the traditional house of Rantebuda, Kampung tawalian, Osanga village, the tombs of Tedong-Tedong Minanga and the weaving center in Rantesapubala. The second day will be trekking in he villages to see the life of villager. Lunch at local restaurant (or lunch box) provided, dinner and overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast at Hotel, we proceed to Toraja
via Polewali and Enrekang, Lunch will be served at a local restaurant enroute.
we will stop for refreshment at
erotic mountain in Enrekang. Arrive in Toraja, check-in Hotel dinner and
overnight at
hotel.
Day 08 : Toraja
Tour
After
breakfast, visit the fascinating villages of Tana Toraja with the unique
Tongkonan Houses which shape like a ship bow and stern. LEMO,
grave yard on the cliff. SUAYA, old royal stone graves of the seventh king.
SANGGALA, the tree for the dead babies. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch
visit LONDA, an ancient natural graves and puppets on the balcony
representing the dead. KETEKESU, traditional Toraja village. Overnight at Hotel,
with all meals included.
Day 09 : Toraja Tour
After breakfast, visit BATUTUMONGA, mountainous area with fantastic scenery
passing through the green paddy field, PALAWA, the oldest village of
Toraja with old Tongkonan houses and rice barns surrounded. On the way back for
lunch visit BORI, the stone showing the existence of the funeral site of the
clan. Lunch at local Restaurant. After lunch visit MARANTE, the hanging graves.
Overnight at Hotel, with all meals included
Day 10 : Toraja – Makassar
( 7 hours drive )
Breakfast at hotel, return to Makassar. Lunch at Bukit Indah seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. Arrive Makassar in the afternoon, check in hotel. Sea food dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, Makassar city sightseeing visits Fort Rotterdam, Paotere traditional harbor and Somba opu shopping center. Lunch at local restaurant. In time transfer to the airport to catch onward flite.
